I frequent a certain coffee house on campus, and today the barrista said " Don't worry about this one. I've got it today."

She could probably tell that I was feeling down - not in small part due to the emotional rendition of 'I'll be missing you' by Faith Evans and Diddy playing loudly over the speakers. I hate these particular moments when I am forced to think of the death of my father and the unresolved emotions I have about it - even a year and a half later.

I have to say though, this hot tea is comforting. And a small piece of me has reconstituted faith that we are better than the ignorance of ignoring.
