This is more of a “random stuff you rarely use, but when you do you’re happy it’s still there.”

One of the first things I bought for the new home next to furniture was a laser printer. I don’t need it for work, I don’t use it very often, so most of the time it just sits on a shelf in the corner of my living room. Since the shelf and the printer are the same color, it’s basically invisible, but whenever I need to print out return labels, recipes, train tickets or random stuff, it’s there in all its convenient glory. That’s why I chose a laser printer, inkjets are notorious when it comes to long periods of inactivity and I wanted a printer that just works, even on short notice.
Goodbye stressful errants to internet cafes and I love that modern printers are accessable via apps and wifi, so I don’t have to turn on my laptop every time I want to print something.
