I'm terrible on the phone. In person, I'm fine with a bit of comfortable silence, but on the phone it's my worst nightmare. I just babble and babble and babble to stop silence from ever happening even if I'm basically having a conversation with myself while the person on the other end just sits there (probably wondering how they can get off the phone as quickly as possible). I'm old enough to have spoken on the phone in the pre-cell-phone era, and I don't remember having this problem then. Has the technological distance of text and email ruined by ability to communicate?

What are you randomly thinking about on this Wednesday afternoon GT?
