I know we all know by now Robert Swann Mueller III is scheduled to & agreed to testify in open hearings before House Judiciary AND House Intelligence, but who else thinks Ravelry really broke the public consciousness open to make that happen?
Here’s the other thing I want to know about what Ravelry did – why other online platforms “struggle” to do the same (unless you’re, you know, Jack Dorsey at Twitter, and you’re “afraid” that if you take white nationalist domestic terrorists off your platform you’re also going to wipe out U.S. Republicans – even though somehow you can manage to keep them off your platform in France and Germany because of the anti-Nazism laws there – like that wipeout would be a bad thing, and has he ever considered the possibility, shock-shocking though it may apparently seem, that some of those self-same Republicans ARE in fact white nationalist domestic terrorists, if we’re evaluating them by their amplified rhetoric and their behavior, the same means by which we judge everybody else?) …??
Since we have a Geneva Convention that’s already being violated by TPTB empowered by this wave of hate, and since we already have a Berne Convention to which we’re supposed to be party, and since we already have a 24/7 booga-booga drumbeating newsmedia full of how much violent human damage their amplified hate rhetoric is doing, and stuff …?
UPDATE: These two things just happened today

Senate Letter to DOJ and FCC re Sinclair Acquisitions
Remember this …?
(I’m waiting to see how they’re defining hate speech, since the French have protections against it under their anti-Nazism laws but we do not … and also because every activist knows someone whose account was suspended, or who was otherwise punished, for reporting hate speech toward and harassment of themselves on FB and similar platforms, while their harassers continued to run amok & unmolested on same.)
unRaveling (and it only took this long after we asked for it): Dana Loesch
unRaveling (and speaking of what we do and don’t ask for, he really asked for this, you know?): Eric Trump
How do you defend your rapist father when he’s also your mother’s rapist?
unRaveling, BOXES OF LIES Division: Mueller consents to testify live and in person (since we live in reality tv universe now) before House Intelligence (likely questions, part I, Mueller Report) and House Judiciary (part II, Mueller Report)
Here’s the other thing I think I know – I’m pretty sure the top-level topics of the debates will get covered everywhere else, so here, we can share about that happening within the context of what is … finally … starting to feel like that psychological, cultural shift?
I think the way the narrative goes is that we’re supposed to be able to tell more about that (and those culturally super-valued “televised moments”) after the debates are over ... and then, of course, there’s this
(I’m trying not even want it – because we know what adversaries who completely lack scruples will do if they know with a fair amount of certainty that you need something. Still not sure how well I’m doing. *grins to self, and also at you all*)
