Hey, all, it’s been a minute since we’ve had one of these, so I figured we were about due. Mostly, I want to know what you’re doing to keep yourself happy, healthy, sane right now. :) What are you eating, reading, watching, listening to, doing these days?
I’d also love to hear from folks about their experiences with meal subscription kits. I’m thinking about getting one for a meal or two a week; I’m a vegetarian, so I’m esp. interested in anyone’s experience with veggie meals from these places. What was your experience with cost, packaging materials, the meals themselves, etc.? I’m a great cook but OMG, this girl is running out of culinary creative juices, y’all!
My recommendation for everyone here is to watch a movie you loved as a kid or a kids’ movie that you were “too old” to watch when it came out. I watched Monster House this week and it was a lot of fun to climb into bed with my computer and veg out to a kids’ movie I’d never seen before.
Oh, also! Season 3 of Claws is on Hulu now!!!!
And/or do a puzzle of some sort—crossword, jigsaw, sudoku... just do something calming that’ll keep your brain working. :) We’ve been working on a jigsaw puzzle for a week and it’s been nice to have something that’s not TV/computin to keep us occupied when the weather’s yucky.
