Hazel Hammersley is a two year old girl with High-Risk, Stage 3 Neuroblastoma at The Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. On their blog, her mom Lauren says that it's increasingly difficult to come up with things to keep Hazel occupied. Last week, she came up with the idea for them to make a silly plea for pizza in Hazel's window. Other patients and hospital staff joined in expecting that it would at most make a passerby laugh. Then someone took this picture and posted it to reddit. On Sunday, this happened:

Over 20 pies were sent to Hazel's room! Her parents had to scramble around to share the pizza with others in the hospital and hospital officials thanked everyone but asked that they stop sending pizza.

After recent events, it's nice to see people doing a sweet thing like this.
