How can I do this? It's got to be possible some way, right?

It's not incredibly awful, but for a point of reference I've been out of work for six months (I just got a job at Starbucks, so that's at least some kind of money rolling in.) and have some accounts in collection, a small amount of credit card debt (I'm talking less than $1500, but again, unemployed for a long time = I haven't been making payments) and I found out I have a housing debt to my old apartment complex, about $600. I don't make very much money, but I'm pretty sure my mom would agree to cosign for me if she needed to for a few months. I also have a tax return and financial aid money coming to me which can help add to my overall income amount. I'm anxious about applying for a place and being rejected, though. Does anyone have experience with this? a side note, I'm pretty embarrassed about my financial situation. Depression did a number on me for awhile and I stuck my head in the sand when it came to taking care of some things. Now that I have a reliable source of income, I hope to work towards repairing my score. Not that I think anyone on GT would shame me or think less of me, since you're all wonderful, understanding, supportive people. But, yeah.
