And it appears that is has snowed approximately so many snow so far.

It seems like this has been messing up a bunch of the east coast. The South got the worst, I think. One of the regulars is a contractor for the main power company up here, and he's likely going to be sent down to Georgia to help restore power. The roads have gotten a bit bad, and there was talk of our own power outages. But around the bar most people instead talked a bunch about how this is nothing compared to the storm of 98, which I will use as my token "days of old" story when I become an old lady. Granted, the way that climate change has affected the weather patterns, I imagine there's probably going to be worse storms out there, so it won't have the same effect.

For my winter storm dinner I will be making chicken pot pie. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to make my own pie crust, because it's a pain in the ass and I hate making it. But alas, the supermarket is a six minute drive down the road and premade pie dough is not worth getting into an accident over.

I will be playing video games, eating junk food, drinking tea, and hoping my building doesn't lose power. How are you spending your Snowpocalypse?
