I decided I'm gonna start running. Yeah, this is going to happen. Slowly...very, very slowly, but it will happen. I, however, have flat feet and I foresee this being a problem.
For some reason unbeknownst to me, I actually own a pair of running sneakers. I'm fairly certain they're Sketchers. I also have a bunch of pair of Nikes that seem to provide some semblance of arch support (for my total lack of arch).
My flat feet generally affect my ankles the most, and I'm really not trying to fuck up my ankles.
So I was wondering if you guys knew of any specific types of sneakers or insoles or something that would help me out? I really don't have a ton of money to spend on a new pair of sneakers, so something on the cheap side would be ideal.
Also, is it a thing to just go into somewhere like Foot Locker and ask a worker for help? There has not been a single sport that I've done that required shoes so I've never quite conversed with Foot Locker employees regarding sneakers for a sport.
Thank you guys! I'm essited to get back into working out :)
