The sample of this survey is ‘likely republican primary voters’. Sam Biddle reports results as if it’s about all South Carolinians. This annoys my inner math-nerd.
Edit: I think what really annoys me is that it completely discounts the existence of southern democrats. South Carolina might have a lot of race problems, but there are a lot more black people there than in Iowa and New Hampshire. Pretending like republicans are the only people in the south is a gross, simplified view of our country.
