...was incredibly strange and kind of traumatizing in a “THAT’S WHAT I LOOK LIKE??” kind of way. Also, I have a make-up question for those who do their make-up every day + informal make-up poll!
I’ve seen myself in photos, obviously, a bunch of times. But watching myself moving around and talking is straight up weird. It’s like watching a doppleganger. The TamTams on screen looks exactly like me but behaves in a totally different way. Now I understand actors who say they don’t like to watch themselves. It’s creepy.
I wasn’t wearing any make-up that first day. Seeing what my patchy halfbrows look like on camera was illuminating, to say the least. So I wore make-up to the second class. I filled in my eyebrows (halfbrows), used this mineral make up I got ages ago to even out my skin tone, put on mascara, blush and eyeliner. I had to do it in the car on the way over since I was coming from work and I didn’t have time in the morning. I didn’t even get a chance to check my face in the bathroom before class started. I was terrified that I looked like this:
But the make up actually looked great on the tape (yay)!
Even though it looked good, I had some issues with the actual make-up which I’m hoping to get some help with.
I never ever wear make-up. Yesterday was the first day I’ve worn a full face of make-up since my friend’s wedding almost a full year ago. For those of you who do make up everyday, how do you get your filled-in brows to stay filled in? I’ve noticed that I touch my face A LOT during the day and I rub the powder/pencil on my eyebrows off. I should just stop touching my face, lol. My eyeliner also kinda blobbed into the inner corners of my eyes. Does that always happen or did I do something wrong with application?
