Serving Sorbet Realness: My Date Night Look Tutorial

Hi GT! I wanted to do a quick makeup tutorial about my date night look, in case anybody was interested. Because Littlefinger and I are in the restaurant industry, we had date night last night! Prior to date night, I also ran into a Groupthinker at O'Tooles Irish Pub- she didn't give me her commentator name, but she's awesome! I got her number and we are going to be friends in real life!

Here are the products used, and I'll place photos underneath with how I made my face look like this. Because I used jewel tones, this look can work on a variety of skin tones. JEWEL TONES FOR EVERYONE, Y'ALL!

So, I always do my eyes first. That way, I can wipe away eyeshadow fallout, and not ruin my foundation. The products used on this look were:

-Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer
-Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Vanilla
-Nars Eyeshadow Duo Mediteranee
-Guerlain Mascara Maxi Lash in Noir (Black)
-Sephora Eyeliner in Black
-Sephora Eyebrow Pencil in 02, Nutmeg Brown

I used the Urban Decay Vanilla as the highlight. I then placed the muted gold shimmer on my eyelid and crease, and blended the burnt orange into my crease/the corner of my eye. I lined the lid with black eyeliner, and slapped some mascara on my eyelashes, and defined my brows.

I applied my foundation and concealer. The products I use are:
-Hourglass Veil Primer
-Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation in Shell
-Makeup Forever HD Invisible Cover Concealer in 305 in Porcelain
Next, I contoured my face. The product that I used to do that was:
-Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder in 02.
I framed my nose, under my chin, my lowlight under my cheekbones, and around my hairline.

Next is the fun step: blush and highlight! The products that I used were:
-Makeup Forever Powder Blush in 74: Antique Pink: Coral Rose
-Nars Blush in Albatross (Highlight)
-Benefit Watt's Up (Highlight)
I put the blush on my cheeks. Then, I used Watt's Up as a highlight right above my blush. I placed Albatross on top of it, along with the bridge of my nose, and above/below my lips.

I blended it all together, and placed my lipstick on. The lipstick I used was:
-Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Ballet

Then I was good to go!

What are some of your "go-to" makeup looks? Is anybody else as obsessed with jewel tones as I am? Does anybody else have date-night on a Wednesday?
