Y’all, I have shower problems. The shower is my oasis. I am not a quick in, quick out kind of gal.
The space heater goes on, the gear gets set up then after a half an hour or so I go in. It’s part cleaning, part maintenance and part therapy. The water must be HOT. I’ve read that it’s bad for my dry skin but I cannot stop myself.
On the days when it’s all I can do to get in there, I do not want to come out. On the best days there’s exfoliating, shaving, deep conditioning—- that stuff takes time! And there’s moisturizing, always moisturizing.
Now to the problems. I got a camper. Storage space is tiny. Calling the corner with only a water nozzle and toilet (yes, in the same space) a “bathroom” or “shower” is generous at best. The fresh water and hot water tanks are also tiny. I am advised to take a Navy shower which was described to me as wetting down, shutting off the water, lathering up then turning the water back on to rinse. This sounds hellish but I am determined to give it a go. I am however, not sure how to convert this:
Into something that will fit into this:
So how about you guys? Do you get in and out quickly? Are you a gear and product accumulator? Lastly, please give me recs on your tried and true multi-taskers and portable products.
(Second attempt at this post, Kinja gods please be kind)
