(TW: cancer, death)
My boss’s husband is dying from cancer. Like, right now. Like, this weekend probably. Three weeks ago, they gave him 6 months to a year. Today, he has been moved into hospice and the family was called in.
I know that this is just terrible and there are no things I or anyone can do to stop that. Her best friend is my other boss and has reported that she is a disoriented mess. She is very wealthy - food, cleaning, shopping is all taken care of. Her youngest child is 18.
Just wanted to know if anyone had any experience or input of something different from the usual stuff that helped them through a time of extreme loss. We are all able to hold down the fort at work, but that’s the least we can do.
