I feel like I should know this by now, but boyf is coming over for dinner (I am making black beans, cilantro lime rice, and tamales, he is bringing margarita makings, and I baked some sea salt dark chocolate brownies for dessert.) Question is, if I start the black beans now (they are canned ones that I drained and rinsed) and cook them on low until he gets here (roughly 90 minutes from now) will they be okay, or will they be unrecognizable mush? Please advise, I’m trying to make the best of my prep time. :)
