Welcome To The Bitchery

Sleep as a Coping Mechanism?

I just want to know if anyone else does this. (No mainpage)

I've noticed that I have been doing this a lot to try to "escape" stressful things, or other depression symptoms. For instance: today, in the absence of literally all other external stimuli (no interneting, no tv, etc.), I still managed to get nothing done today (read: I am still behind on my LSAT prep hw). When I would get to a section that would really frustrate me, and send my progress to a molasses-like state, I would just "run away" from it by passing out for an hour or two. I already seem to be picking things up at a geriatric pace, so this here is bad news bears.

I will now be going back to studying. Hopefully I will actually manage to learn something.
