What a rush of a week! Mr. Ivriniel and I led a team in the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen. http://www.gishwhes.com

We had a team of 15 people, but one of them went to Pennsic, and her plan for internet access didn't turn out. Another team member was MIA, and a third somehow didn't realize that the hunt was 6 days and 13 hours long, and so only managed to complete one of her items.

Even so, we got 79 out of 185 original items. (they added 10 more locational ones at the end of the hunt that weren't near any of us.).

My favourite of the ones I worked on has to be organizing a maypole dance in a bus station with the participants wearing "pilgrim attire". I got in contact with an English Country Dancer via email who turned out to be a force of nature. We turned up at the Hamilton bus station to discover she had a real Maypole strapped to the roof of her car. As we were setting up, a man and his 3 year old daughter were waiting for the bus. The lady from the ECD group asked him to join us, and they did. A bus driver came along to film what we were up to, and the lady convinced him to help stabilize the pole when the Christmas tree stand she had brought with her didn't quite do the trick.

Based on what I have seen on Youtube, I think we might be the only team to have gotten a real maypole.

Anyways, here are our Youtube videos:

And here is a selection of our images. I left out the candy bikini one because our team mate who did it is actually very shy:
