I am very fortunate to have a Farmer's Market that is literally steps from my house. Last week, I got a 3 litre basket of cherries for $5. They were seconds, and all cracked up, but perfectly good for making cherry brandy, and sweet cherry butter from the Food in Jars cookbook.
So I decided to go back to the same booth and see if he had any more. The man at the booth said that this was the last of his cherries, and when I asked if I could get two baskets of the seconds, he told me I could have all 4 for $16!
So now I have to figure out what to do with them quickly. Fortunately, we have the fridge space, so I don't have to worry about them turning into a mass of fruitflies. Still, I'm going to work out what else I can use them for on Sunday.
I did get one other awesome deal on Saturday. I went out to a sale being held by this awesome chain of lingerie stores, and got 3 bras for $50 after tax. Apparently I saved something $94 off the original price of these. There are gorgeous and fit really well!
One's a Marlie Decker that is the same style as this one, but doesn't have quite the same detailing: http://www.estilolingerie.com/product/red-ch…
A pretty mauve one from Charade by Change, which I can't find a picture of online
And a Triumph kind of like this one only it has a double spaghetti strap:
