Short answer: no.
Here I kinda thought it was a no-brainer. I've helped them to eliminate the salaries of two other individuals, I work like crazy, I stress myself out to the point of not sleeping, but no.
The long answer was something to the effect of "keep doing what you're doing and you'll be rewarded in time."
So, that's a little discouraging.
It's not that I NEED the raise to live (I do okay, but of course I'd like more money), but it would be nice to feel like I'm being recognized for being a badass. And I don't want to quit because for all intents and purposes, I do like my job and my company. So I don't really know what to do other than just be bummed about it for a couple days.
I'm sitting here writing this as I'm currently 30 minutes over my work time for the day, waiting on work to come in from my boss boss so that I can put it in my thing that we're turning in tonight. So I'll probably be here today for a good 2 hours longer than I'm paid for. Kinda like I'm here usually for a good 2 hours longer than I'm paid for every day.
And also, it sounds like we're basically about to get a HUGE bump from something I worked on last month that the lady they fired was in charge of that I had to take over and do all by myself. It will equate to quite a big increase in our revenue. Thanks MaryTylerGore for all your hard work! No soup for you!
