I'm getting to that point where each day is blending into the day before it. And I don't know where each one starts and ends.
This new job at the gym is ok. I think I actually like it, but I'm so tired that I can't tell. The chick training me keeps giving me more shifts. Which is good, because money. But it's annoying because 1 - they're erratic and 2 - I'm STILL at my other job for the next 2 weeks, and it's the busiest time of year at the theater right now. So - really take a second to process what I'm about to say - I literally, literally, do not have a day off until June 28th. Including weekends. So I'm working every single day, 7 days a week, at at least 1 job (usually both) until the 28th. And I've been working every day since the 9th.
And the woman training me tried to give me a shift on the 28th. I basically begged her at that point not to because it'll be the first day I'll have off in 3 weeks from both jobs. I just wish she'd stop messing with my schedule. Working 7 days a week isn't fun, guys. AND! Anddddd - for the next 3 Sundays, I have the morning shift. Wanna know what that is? 5:45 am - 4pm. 10 hours. Straight. From 5:45am. In the morning.
I have the feeling the people at this new job are gonna try and push me around. I can't explain why I feel that way, but I do. That they're gonna keep trying to get me to do morning shifts. I already explicitly told them that while I don't mind doing them for the next 3 Sundays (the guy who usually does them will be on vacation), I can't do that shit all the time. That I didn't agree to work those when I started and I will NOT be able to make it there at 5:45 am every single week. Yet I feel like they're gonna try and do it anyway.
*Sigh. There's more I'm nervous about but I need to take a shower and go to sleep. I have both jobs tomorrow and I'm dreading it. I can't wait til July when things are steadier.
I feel like I should add really quick, I'm only at the gym so much now because I'm still in training. Once July comes, I'll be done with training and will only be working like 2-3 shifts a week (hopefully not in the morning).
