So, earlier today, this happened (for those too lazy to click the link: the Minnesota House just passed marriage equality by a 16-vote margin). The bill now goes to the Minnesota Senate on Monday, where Democratic leaders are confident they have the votes to pass it. Assuming it passes there, Democratic Governor Mark Dayton has already pledged to sign it into law. So unless something really weird happens, Minnesota is about to join Delaware and Rhode Island and become the 12th state to pass marriage equality. Woooo! Margaritas for everyone!

Not to toot my own horn, but it looks like I called it. I still think New Jersey is next (and that we'll see Christie pivot towards support as a move towards national ambitions).
