I don't wanna be like the pumpkin seed lady on the gross stories! I actually did make the

Bacon Molasses Pumpkinseeds That I Blame Monsieur Grimes-Purrkins For:

Raw, Unhulled Pumpkin Seeds


McCormick's Bacon Molasses seasoning

Place a handful of seeds in a small nonstick pan, spray with Pam to lightly coat, and cook on medium heat while constantly stirring, until they start to become golden. Toss them in a bowl and sprinkle the seasoning on top, repeat until all the seeds are cooked and seasoned. Just dump the new batch on top of the old and lightly sprinkle, you want the residual heat to melt the sugar.


Bumble's Fancypants Dressed Up Pumpkin Seeds:

Preheat oven to 300

Melt about a tablespoon of bacon fat

In a bowl, drizzle the fat over the seeds (probably the ratio would be 1 cup seeds per tablespoon of fat) half a teaspoon of salt, and half a tablespoon of basalmic vinegar, and a tablespoon of brown sugar. Combine thoroughly.


Spread the seeds out in a single layer in a pan and roast for about 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

OR, in 1/th cup batches, panfry while stirring furiously on medium heat until golden brown. Eat while still warm.


ETA: They still need to be baked in the oven, the skins don't get crunchy enough without it.
