For my second night shift, I've had to have a change of night-lunch reading material. Confessions of an English Opium-Eater is not a thing to read while attempting to remain alert at 3am.
Quite a few books have kept me up being unable to put them down. I like horror stories but they don't usually put me out too much. The one book that really stands out for keeping me awake was Coraline by Neil Gaiman. Something about the domesticity of it all really put me on edge.
So, good bibliophiles of GT, what books have kept you awake?
