And I am actually kind of proud of myself!
I have been pretty lethargic about adulting in general lately. My place has been a disaster, and I haven't been eating well. My exercise fell by the wayside and I am going to have to start from the beginning with running.
But then my Mama visited last weekend. She is a machine. She bought us a BBQ, because for the first time in her life she has money to blow. She started clearing out a garden downstairs, and she bought me some herbs, and helped me organize a few cupboards.
She got my butt in to gear.
So I picked p where she left off downstairs. If anyone passed a girl in a skirt, and a blue sweater gardening in bare feet- that was me!

There was a big tree stump and root on the edge, so that was fun to work around. I mostly cleared leaves away. Like, a lot of leaves. A lot of lot of leaves. There was already good stuff there. In the corner is oregano, and some parsley. Then on the back some almost fully mature kale. I threw in some lettuce and cabbage that is so tiny I put some broken pots around it to keep them guarded from cats and elements. I am going to throw some tomato plants in there once I can find then since it's still early in the season.

But, my favourite part! My deck!

The bistro set we had bought weeks ago and carried home. We are dumb. But luckily WomBear took it as a challenge so he carried it most of the way by himself.

I don't really like colourful pots, but their price-point at the dollar store likes me!

So, what is it missing guys? I want it to be cozy and welcoming without looking ghetto-ish.
