My parents won a smoker (specifically this one) at my dad’s company picnic. Now, every time I visit them, I have to smoke things. Last time was the first time we’d used it, so my mom and I just make a pork loin, which was delicious.
Now, I’m going to be up there next weekend, and then weekend after that and want more things to smoke, and an advice you have.
Currently, I plan to do chicken thighs, since those are my favorite piece of chicken, and it looks like while I could make them more complicated, I could also make them pretty easily. I also plan to smoke some cheese, because I love smoked cheeses! What else do you recommend? I considered salmon, but that it is a lot of brining and stuff, is it easier than it sounds?
