Within the last hour, both Wisconsin's and Texas's draconian voter restriction laws have been struck down. The Supreme Court nixed Wisconsin's:

And a Federal district judge struck down Texas's, so they'll appeal, of course:

A federal court in Texas struck down the state's voter ID law on Thursday, calling the measure an "unconstitutional poll tax" that creates "an unconstitutional burden on the right to vote" with the intent of discriminating against Hispanic and African-American citizens.

But all in all a good night for the precious right to vote in the U.S. I'll let Lewis Black have the last word.
