Seriously, thanks. Like, really!

TW: Potential TMI

We woke up this morning to find that we'd overdrawn the account again, so I had to pull yet more from the LOC and pretend to not freak about it. We used our baby-shower gift cards to buy groceries from Target, although PhMom insists that we will spend the money on some actual baby things at some point. Oh, and we had to put gas in the tank, and there will be a co-pay for my shrink visit, and I'll need to refill my brain medicine pretty soon, and so on and so forth and what have you... hm, maybe there is a gif that will express how I feel?

Yeah, that'll do. Anyway, another errand we had to run was to get some new WHORE PILLS for PhMom because we have decided that we are not going to be Duggars (fun fact: if the conventionally agreed demographics are right, at least two people in that family probably are gay). We've spent the last 8 or 9 years either actively trying to get pregnant or using rubbers during that "seriously, you don't want to get knocked up again too soon, but it's not like we're going to stop fucking" time frame, so it's been awhile since we've spun the BC dial. (For the record, it took about 4 years of trying to get pregnant with the first one, 10 months with the second, and two or three weeks (!) with the third.) In any case, it was a relief to pick up the scrip and have a $0.00 charge. Hey, I even got 500 points for it. When I get my crazy pills refilled, it will be enough to get a $10 off coupon.I've got to be honest and say that I feel hugely disappointed in how Obamacare is rolling out. I was never that thrilled with it in the first place, but to see it fail is painful, particularly since it might mean admitting to my Fox-News watching Facebook friends that they weren't entirely wrong. So it's nice to see one thing about Obamacare that I can unreservedly get behind.

Now if only I could get him to pay for my buspirone or my son's EpiPen, Jr.

ETA: Oh, and in my elation, I forgot to mention the other bit of awesome news: our AFLAC check came in, which covers at least a portion of PhMom's maternity leave paylessness. If you are planning on getting pregnant and/or seriously injured, it's a really good idea to have AFLAC. They are awesome and not expensive. I say this as someone who loves AFLAC almost as much as he HATES THAT FUCKING DUCK!!!
