Well, that didn't happen in April, so I'm trying again in May, with one exception: I'm going to go out to my fave restaurant and bar in this town before I leave it for good, and plan on boozing it up then.
I just feel gross and bloated from drinking too much, and I now have two races that I need to train for, and I want to feel my best in my running shorts. The two races are: ZombieSurvivor, at the end of July (yes, I will be running away from zombies while trying to navigate muddy obstacles) and a 13k Spartan Race at the beginning of September. Woohoo! At the moment, I can barely run for 5 minutes at a go, so I've got a lot of work to do. Two summers ago I could run for almost 2 hours, for 16km, so it's incredibly frustrating to have lost this much fitness.
My other goal is to limit my chip intake to one bag per week, which may be the more difficult challenge. At least I have popcorn.
