The combination of the Lifestyle Brand post* and this tweet which came across my feed today made me wonder today—

What are things which OTHER people seem to really enjoy, but what make YOU completely squicked out or which simply gross you out/ bother you—reasonably or unreasonably?

Are they big things, or small ones?

Fwiw, I LOVE the *Idea* of the bodega cats!! And I can appreciate the fact that they’re likely helpful for pest control.

And cats are SUPER adorable!!!😀😁🤗

But as someone who was raised with the idea that you train your cats from kittenhood to not jump up on the kitchen counters or table, because those adorable little toe-beans ALSO walk in a dirty litter box....

I ended up totally grossed out by this picture, because the cat is stepping on the tops of the salt containers, which are nearly impossible to wash (since the sides of the containers are cardboard😳😬🤢)

Another thing I don’t allow, although I LOVE my pupper, is for her to lick my face, and I *try* to make her stop licking other people’s faces, too (although some of them say, “Oh *I* don’t mind!”)

Why do I stop her? SHE DRINKS FROM THE TOILET, AND LICKS HER OWN BUTT. SHE *IS* A DOG, after all!😆🤣😂

But, mostly, it’s gross and she might have germs that could make someone sick—so she SHOULDN’T be licking them near their mouth, nose, or eyes.

Another thing that inevitably makes me cringe are the viral pictures & videos of babies & toddlers playing with or “petting” animals. The ones with baby animals worry me, because there’s so much potential for the kiddo to hurt the animal, and the ones where a YOUNG toddler is “petting” an adult animal worry me, because kids can be unpredictable and grabby. That can be a dangerous situation with even the most gentle of animals. No matter HOW cute they are, they just make me cringe inside.

What seemingly adorable things can’t YOU enjoy, GT, and why?

*which I LOVED!! I’d TOTALLY follow any of those on offer by our fellow GT’ers!😉
