Chritter's bacon post this morning inspired me to finally break open that jar of bacon jam that had been sitting in our pantry. Normally I eat ramen noodles or leftovers for lunch, so the glorious sandwich that I made was a real treat:

  • Really good crusty bread
  • Bacon jam
  • Spinach pesto (I thought pesto had to have basil? Whatever, this stuff is amazing)
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Avocado
  • Fried egg
  • Grilled

The only problem now is managing the urge to keep snacking on bread and bacon jam (let's face it, this is a losing battle). Oh, and also I ran out of cheddar. :(

Is anyone else eating anything amazing today? Or are people laying low food-wise and saving their stomach space for Thanksgiving?
