This weekend was the beginning of the annual orchid festival at the UNESCO World Heritage site Kew Gardens. Honestly, as a botanicist the orchid festival isn't all that thrilling - all horticultural varieties and very few species. But as a human who doesn't like winter it's great!

This is just one greenhouse (okay greenhouse complex). Kew is enormous - if you're ever in London I highly recommend it! I have membership and make good use out of it. :)
