I’m moving into a new new role in about a week. It’s my first time a non-manager role in...years. What if I forgot how to just work? The last time I started a new job, I was focused right away on learning about my team, recruiting, and dealing with some low performers from day one and basically running with my hair on fire like a crazy person right away. Now...I forgot how to just come and work and deliver on stuff. Tips? I feel like I’ve always just been thrown in with no real on-boarding or training in previous roles. To the point where I felt like I had to play detective to even figure out what my predecessor did or how. It always worked out just fine. I’m certainly overthinking it, but that’s kind of my thing. Also, I want to be awesome because I’m an overachiever!
