a lot of snacky junk food, to be honest, and a lot of bread. so, here's what we got...

5 skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs

hot dogs, package of 10

frozen sausage patties, 8 count

2 single serve cartons of yogurt

10 apples

5 potatoes

2 nectarines

1 loaf cinnamon raisin bread

1 loaf sliced italian bread

1 bag of sandwich rolls

1 box small croissants, 18 count

1 box mini cherry danishes

6 Capri Sun juice pouches

2 bottles of generic Mio-type water drops

5 Skinny Cow chocolate bars, assorted types

12 Fruit roll-ups

1 4-pack Oreo pudding cups

6 huge Rice Krispie treats

1 small box Apple Jacks, plus 1 single serve cup of Apple Jacks

1 large box Corn Chex

1 single serve cup Cocoa Krispies

1 box unsweetened almond milk

2 cans diced potatoes

2 cans cream of celery soup

1 box generic easy-mac, 6 count

2 boxes regular mac n cheese

1 1lb bag of rice

1 1.5lb box of minute rice

2 boxes hamburger helper

2 cans of cheese sauce

so, there you have it. our bi-weekly food box for 8 people. it looks like a lot, but a lot of it is snacky, junky stuff that will be gone in a day or 2. dinner was the pack of hot dogs, some tortilla chips, and an apple, a fruit roll-up, and a Capri Sun per kid. 4 of the Rice Krispie treats, all of the pudding cups (grrr...) and the 2 small cereal cups are also already devoured. i hid the rest of the fruit roll-ups (which are gluten free, yay!) and the chocolate bars for later.
