Welcome To The Bitchery

Last summer we got a couple of dressed rabbits from our local farmer's market, and they have been sitting in the freezer ever since. This week we finally got around to defrosting one, and Mr. Ivriniel made one into stew today.

We decided to try the 16th Century Rabbit Stew recipe from the Game of Thrones cookbook. We are planning to use the other one to try the Modern Rabbit Stew recipe from the same cookbook at a later date.

It's pretty good, though I think the spices (ginger,mace and cloves) are a little on the heavy side.
