Women In Toronto Politics will be holding two mixers over the next few weeks. Anyone interested in going?
One will be in Etobicoke (at Gabby's, 2899 Bloor W) on Monday, January 27. The other will be in Scarborough (Queen Victoria's Pub, 2240 Midland Ave) on Tuesday, February 4 - Eventbrites linked. For me personally, either location is no fun to get to, but at least the Etobicoke one is on the Bloor line.
I'm not sure if I will go. As of this moment, I'm feeling kind of shy and introverted. But if anyone here wants to go, I think I can crawl out of my shell for a night! Previous events I've been to have been great, everyone is lovely. These two mixers are also free with snacks included.

Get involved: join WiTOpoli!
Learn how you can be part of supporting women's civic engagement in the 2014 municipal election.
The outset of an election year is the perfect time for women invested in the city and its communities to connect. Together, we can dream up ways to ensure women's voices are heard on the campaign trail as candidates, voters and community members.
Women in Toronto Politics has big election plans: social media advocacy, easy-to-use candidate comparison charts, workshops on technology for civic engagement, and much more.In that spirit, WiTOpoli is hosting FREE mixers to meet women in Scarborough and Etobicoke who'd like to get involved with our activities this year. The mixers are kid-friendly and complimentary snacks will be provided. We hope to see you at one or both!
