who must navigate the color of their skin every damn day. Worse, a legacy from parents to their beautiful children to "keep your head down & your voice low." A sorrow & madness passed down to too many generations. Something no parent & child should have to bear in this country.
As a white woman, I can never understand this. Just know that I give a shit that it is still happening.
