To begin this poll, here’s some background:
Singapore Airlines wants to restart non-stop flights to the US (New York and Los Angeles) which would take a total of 19 hours each way. They would cut 5 hours off the regular travel time. At this time, Qantas also has flights from Sydney to Dallas taking between 15-16 hours each way. They are studying flights from Perth to London for a total of 18 hours each way. Miami is in talks with China to start 16 hour flights to Taipei. Manila-New York, Doha-Los Angeles, Delhi-San Francisco, are all being started soon or being evaluated. And next February, Emirates plans to start Dubai to Panama City flights, taking a total of 17 1/2 hours each way.
So, here are the 3 questions:
1. Would you be willing to take a non-stop flight, if it meant saving a significant amount of travel time?
2. If you are in a group, would you take a nonstop flight?
B. No, I’d prefer to do it on my own.
3. In most circumstances, are you willing to pay more for a nonstop flight if one is available?
So, feel free to answer and comment below. I’d love to hear your answers, and your experience with nonstop flight, short or long haul. Any tips would also be very appreciated.
