Ugh. I'm trying to make a simple hoodie pattern, and it's just weird. It feels like the craft version of Who's Line- the gauge is made up and the counts don't matter anyway! It is so maddening. The pattern is from the sixties, and it doesn't list a yarn to use (just Worsted. Okay. Was worsted weight the same back then? I assume so. I don't actually know) It's very frustrating. (I just wanted a pullover dammit!)

I have frogged and re-crocheted about four times now. I don't want to not make it- because I have about two thousand yards of the yarn needed, in a color that I don't know what else I'd do with. I guess I could make another afghan. I love afghans! And my Grandmother's 80th is in September, but she said she wanted one in browns, and I want to deliver. Ugh. And it's raining! Just a weird Sunday with the creeping ennui of a craft hole. At least I have netflix...
