Obviously, I do this to myself, because I watch this show when I know that it is not the best thing on television. There are other things I could watch. But I do like some characters and sometimes cool things do happen. Granted, that's only about 3 times per season, but I don't want to miss those cool things, ya know?

Well, there was nothing cool about this episode. Well, I take that back, I did like the actor who played Rumples dad and I did like that he became Peter Pan (it was obvious the minute he decided they go to Neverland though, but that's fine). Other than that, no. They barely used Regina, they had Tink and didn't use her and then it was completely full of horrible writing.

Somehow Henry, who is supposed to be incredibly smart and wise and stuff has been an absolute mess this season. The writers decided it was better to take all of that away and just leave him as a boy with average intelligence and with no prior exposure to people who lie. And they also made him effing stupid. Pan lies, tells him his family isn't looking for him, that they don't love him. Regina, Emma and Snow make a magic mirror and get it to Henry and describe how much they love him and how hard they're working to get to Henry. And then Henry just decided to forget about that and go along with everything Pan says and believe him when he says that he doesn't lie (even though he lied about all that and Henry KNOWS).

So then we get to the climax and Henry is about to give his heart away when Emma, Neil and Regina all burst in and tell Henry to stop, that they love him and that he's being tricked and for SOME EFFING REASON Henry decides to go with Pan?! This makes no sense whatsoever. This goes against all the prior character development given for Henry. I mean, your mothers despise eachother and barely agree, but they're both working together and telling you that Pan, the man who kidnapped him, is bad and trying to hurt him and yet he still goes and does this?

I mean, yes I understand he's supposed to be an 11 year old little boy who obviously isn't as smart as an adult. But in this show, Henry has proven to be arguably one of the smartest people in the entire show up until this season. Now I'm kind of hoping he stays dead, if this is how the writers are going to keep going with the character.

Oh well, now that Rumple is going to be gone for a while there really isn't a point in watching anymore. This show always has so much potential and then it just gets flushed down the toilet.

What are everyone elses thought? Or was I the only still watching this as a guilty pleasure?

ETA: OH OH OH ALSO!
Didn't Pan just sit Henry don basically right next to/behind the hourglass? And yet he couldn't hear the conversation behind Rumple and Pan? And you're telling me that even if he couldn't hear, he didn't go behind and follow Pan to listen when he mysteriously takes him away and runs off? Such bad writing!
