I realyl just don't see it. When I think of infuential music from the past 20 years, I think of Dr. Dre, Daft Punk, Alanis Morrissette (yeah, she's disappeared, but she launched a whole lot of angry woman singers) and maybe Madonna.

I feel like the only way you could call Nirvana a major influence is if you think of the only "real" music as rock played mostly by white guys. Which I just can't.
