I don't care for turkey (too dry) so I would always eat ham (if someone made one) for Thanksgiving dinner.
I do not plan on ever making turkey for my family for Thanksgiving. If they want it, they can make it themselves. I'll taste some to be polite but leftover sandwiches are a zillion times better with delicious leftover ham rather than dried out turkey.
ETA: Turkey is always a bit dry. Doesn't matter what you do to it. That bird can never be as juicy as chicken or as mouthwatering as ham.
