Update on yesterday's soup how to make it

My cousin came over and said how she made the butternut squash apple pureed soup.

She cooked the squash and apples first but not together. She then pureed both together. She then cooked the puree on the stove. As its cooking she put chopped macedamia nuts into it.

When served each guest ground a nutmeg on top for a thin layer.

Eat it next while warm.
