Since it's dinner time, I figured I'd throw out a food question. It is a well known fact in my family that I don't eat green. Yes, I know, it's good for me and now that I'm cooking for myself I know I need to start working them into my diet. The only way I've found has been to sneak them into other foods, like peas in pot pie and VERY finely chopped onions in chili.
I mentioned this to Mexador when he came up to visit this weekend and he made us broccoli, steamed and stir fried in garlic, soy sauce, and sambal. And it was...good. I could barely taste the broccoli and the sauce was awesome.
Anyone have suggestions on certain vegetables that are more appealing or ways to cook/dress vegetables to make them more appealing to people who just don't like them?
