Ok so, I'm going to this event in a few weeks. It's an afternoon of yoga, poetry, music, and various other relaxing things on the beach. The thing is that it's also a potluck, so it's suggested that we bring either snacks or a meal or something with us.

However, it's all vegetarian. I'm not a vegetarian. I'm a good cook, and I love to cook, but I have NO clue what to make or buy to bring with me to this event since the majority of my diet subsists of meat and dairy.


I'd love to make a vegetarian dish, I just have no idea what any are. Do any of you lovely people have some suggestions? The event says vegetarian, not vegan, if that helps (I also don't know the degrees of vegetarian - like if it's ok to eat fish or dairy, so I guess I'll just make something that's basically vegan? HALP!).

Also, if any NYC Jezzies would be into this, it's open to the public, so let me know and I'll give you the info. It's gonna be in Coney Island on May 11.
