This is my first meatless Thanksgiving — any suggestions for the best plant-based turkey substitutes?

Based on a helpful Slate article, I’m leaning toward the Gardein Holiday Roast or the Quorn Turk’y Roast, but the article is 10 years old, so there may be better options available now.

Also considering skipping a substitute and making the Glazed Lentil Walnut Apple Loaf from Oh She Glows instead. It sounds amazing, but a) it’s lot of work and b) I would really like something I can eat on a sandwich with cranberry sauce.
