The FCC has voted to change its rules around formal complaints from the public. Now, complainants will have to pay a $225 fee to bring their issue to the commission via the official process. Informal complaints, however, are still free.
Before they were just ignoring complaints, but apparently that was too much work. So now you have to pay a fee to complain formally. Article here.
The people that supposedly work for us...who are paid with our tax dollars...will now not listen to us unless we pay them another $225. For every complaint. I’m baffled something like this is even legal. How fucking far we’ve fallen as a country.
