The Greenheart/GreenHunk wedding happened. It was a good day. We both cried during the ceremony and the toasts. All of my best friends in the world were in one place, and they all danced to Baby Got Back with me (well, on me!) GreenHunk didn’t shove cake in my face but I did to him and it was hilarious and I still ended up with cake everywhere. Of course there were some catastrophes. Some of GreenHunk’s groomsmaids got my youngest bridesmaid high and she’s still in high school, my mom cussed out my bridesmaids, a box of cupcakes got spilled, my mom forgot to pick up the salad greens (a friend donated them and they were supposed to be picked up) so some of our friends ended up going to their house and picking all their lettuce from their garden during the reception, we ran out of cider early (not beer though!), GreenHunk got pretty drunk by the end and threw up on the way home (he was definitely not alone though), and at least 10 people told me they thought my uncle was my dad and almost evicted him from the wedding! Oh and one of the funniest things that happened is that I ruined the first look photos by accident. When I was coming toward him I saw that he was wearing the green shoes (in the photos) and I was like “Are you REALLY going to wear those shoes?!” and he turned around. He said he wasn’t going to wear them during the actual wedding - he did have dress shoes with him, but so many people told him he should that like an hour later he asked me if I would care if he did and I told him to go for it.

I don’t have the professional photos back yet, but the photographer just told me it will be another 3 weeks, so I’m just gonna share some of the snapshots people took with you guys.

this is from the dance we dedicated to GreenHunk’s relationship with his best man (the song was Turn Down For What)
