How is everyone doing today?
The last few days I’ve been feeling more irritable and frustrated than usual, but today I woke up in a great mood and I’m hoping to keep that going through the rest of the week.
I’ve been neglecting my own self-care over the last week while trying to take care of the emotional needs of other people, so I want to really try to focus on making sure I’m doing good and doing the things that bring me some happiness. I may not be able to do anything about all the crappy stuff going on right now, but I can make an effort to bring some joy to my own life.
So, today I will be making sure I do all the small things that help me feel good. Deep conditioning my hair, having a cup of tea, laying in the hammock and enjoying some peace and quiet, and enjoying some extra cuddle time with my happy boy.
