Since there were so many enthusiastic responses last time, I guess this will be a weekly(ish) thing! So tell me, what things are you most excited about eating this week?

The Constable and I went to Fogo de Chao last night (thanks mom, for winning a free dinner for two and not wanting to use it!), which was wonderful, but also so much more food than I ever need to eat. Also, my now mission is to learn how to make that cheesy tapioca bread, because that is the only thing I ever want to eat the next time I get the munchies. I was already pretty tipsy at dinner and just eating like the whole bowl of them because the Constable was saving all the room for MEAT. So anyways, I am extra motivated to eat healthy this week, since last night was just way too much for me. Here's what I'm excited about:

I made this soup today and I swear it's the prettiest thing, food or not, that I've ever made. And it was delicious too.

I really liked the pomegranate oatmeal snack cups as a quick breakfast option last week, so I'm experimenting with more things like that for grab-and-go breakfasts. I'm excited to make these:


I'm on a bit of a pomegranate kick, because I need to use up the pomegranate juice I bought, and this salad looked amazing:…

And I'm trying out my brand new Crockpot for the first time tomorrow! I'm making a German pork chop and red cabbage dish I got from my "Slow Cooking For Two" recipe book.
