I don't think I did one of these last week (sorry guys, life has been pretty crazy), but that means we just get to talk about more food! Whoo!
I am still obsessed with my crockpot, and this week I made split pea soup in it. I'd never had split pea soup, and it was definitely way more "white people food" than I usually eat, but it was pretty delicious and also finished cooking in the middle of a rare Los Angeles downpour, so it was pretty much exactly what I needed.
In case you can't tell, I'm kind of on a comfort food kick right now (oh hey, massive anxiety!), so I'm also really excited to make (healthier) burgers and tots this week:

Have I shared this recipe yet? I'm obsessed with Budget Bytes, and when Beth posted this a while back I was like, well, it looks kind of strange, but I trust her because every recipe she's ever posted has been amazing. And then I made it and it really was amazing, and I've been eating it for breakfast usually at least once a week. I use half rice/half cauliflower rice (because I'm obsessed with all things cauliflower) and coconut oil, and it's a seriously amazing breakfast that's ready in exactly six minutes:
